I really love what I do! I am an Accredited Play Therapist with over 15 years’ experience in education and communications. I really believe in the transformative power of play therapy having watched many children in over a thousand hours of play therapy sessions, revel in discovering their inner wisdom and strength. I’ve seen children leave play therapy exclaiming “I’ve got this!”.
It is this sense of empowerment, of courage that makes me truly believe in this work.
How I work

Creative
Play is the language of children. Through various play techniques and Creative Arts, I help children express themselves, navigate challenges, and develop essential life skills in a supportive and non-intrusive environment.

Holistic, Approach
I recognise the importance of the family unit in a child's well-being. Therapy sessions may also be offered to parents, fostering stronger connections and providing a holistic approach to healing.

Mindful
Attunement
Mindfulness is at the heart of my therapeutic approach. I accompany children as they learn to develop awareness of their thoughts and feelings. It is through that process they build valuable tools and life skills for managing stress and building resourcefulness.

Growth
Through this therapeutic relationship, I support children in cultivating their sense of self, through all the gritty, sometimes difficult emotions, as they embark on a journey of continuous growth. Together, we work to unlock the potential for healing and connection in your child's unique story.
What is Play Therapy?
A child may not have the words to describe how they are feeling, or why they are behaving as they do. They may also not be able to recognise what they find difficult, or explain it to someone if asked. Play Therapy provides the expertise and time to do this through play using carefully selected materials/medium such as sand, clay, puppets, art materials, music, movements and sensory play.
